Stand Up Speak Up

The latest buzz in fundraising bands appears to be making a huge impact.  The "Stand Up Speak Up" campaign is beginning to gain traction and interestingly enough it revolves around racism in football in Europe.  Initially started by star player Theirry Henry with funding from giant Nike.

It's not just a matter of the players wearing the bands but the fans wearing them in support.  To date, over 5 million stand up and speak wristbands have been produced however it's been said that production of the wristband has been stopped because they reached their initial goal.  I'd expect this decision to change based upon the momentum.
